[Case Study] Dental Impression Tray
Repeating trial and error! Introducing examples of assistance in product commercialization.
We would like to introduce a case where "nylon coating" was proposed as a method for painting dental impression trays. Stainless steel dental impression trays retain coldness, making them difficult to use for extended periods in the mouth, and they are expensive. Dental impression trays coated with resin on iron have the issue of deteriorating and breaking after about 20 to 30 sterilization cycles performed in the clinic. By applying a heat-resistant and rust-resistant plating treatment to the base material, iron, and further applying our coating, we were able to prevent the deterioration of the base material. [Case Summary] ■ Issues - Retains coldness, making long-term use in the mouth difficult, and is expensive - Deteriorates and breaks after about 20 to 30 sterilization cycles in the clinic ■ Results - Deterioration of the base material was prevented *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
